The cast of My Space, My Place 2007
sliced bread attraction was formed by Alison Richardson in 2006 in response to the need for more creative programs for people with a disability initially in Western Sydney but now right across Sydney.
sliced bread attraction devises creative programs in design, photography, sound & performance adopting a Community Cultural Development approach. sliced bread attraction is currently producing Bakehouse, an inclusive arts event to be held in October 2008 in various venues across Sydney. Bakehouse aims to bridge the gap between the arts & disability sector and create opportunities for people with a disability where there once was none. It also aims to plant the seed in the minds of contemporary arts companies in extending their practice to be more inclusive of people with a disability.
